Twinings Pyramid Infuser Tea & Earl Grey Tea Loaf
This post is sponsored by Nuffnang.
There is something so sophisticated about tea. Depending on the blend, it can transport you away, calm you down, soothe a bloated stomach, help with symptoms of a cold, or just keep you going.
If you come to my house, you won’t find 1-2 blends of tea; you’ll find at least 20, or more. I know this because I recently cleaned my pantry out and realised I had enough tea to start my own franchise! Most of them are from the Twinings range, and it all depends on how I’m feeling as to which blend I’ll have. Earl Grey is my go to blend at High Tea. If I’ve had too much to eat, it’s usually green or peppermint tea.
Twinings new Pyramid Infuser Range makes drinking tea at home feel like a luxury experience. Beautiful packaging, silk-like pyramid bags, the finest quality ingredients and 5 distinct blends; you’ll be wanting to host High Tea at your place in no time.
The 5 Blends in the Twinings Pyramid Infuser Range are:
Brisk English Morning
Vintage Earl Grey
Fragrant Green Jasmine
Cottage Mint Leaves
Honeycomb Camomile Buds
For someone who doesn’t drink camomile, I found this particular one to have an added depth of flavour that I enjoyed. Even camomile tea fan Taz agreed there was something extra to this blend.
I found the other blends to be of an equally high quality. I love the luxuriousness of the silk-like bag, being able to see the elements that make up an exceptional cup of tea. The green tea was the most intriguing as they start off as buds and bloom into leaves.
Twinings new Silk Pyramid Infuser range is available now in Coles and Woolworths RRP $6.39.

Around here, it’s always Earl Grey because it’s all my (very) elderly father-in-law will drink. He arrived nearly 3 month ago and forgot to go home. I can’t win because I don’t know what bringing the boutique home with me means. If you mean the tea, I’m 5 minutes away from Coles and Woolies and Woolies has the best selection of tea. If you mean how do you bring the whole store home, I have no clue. 🙂
Laura
I would love to try the brisk english morning blend. It sounds lovely. To bring the boutique home with my I would get a huge bunch of fresh flowers to brighten up the home and fill it with a lovely smell! 🙂

I’m tea mad! Don’t feel I should enter this though as I have won a bit from blogs lately! Greedy! Just wanted to say what a lovely loaf… x
Tina @ bitemeshowme
This loaf sounds absolutely delightful! I’d probably have the whole thing to myself though.. lol
Daisy@Nevertoosweet
Ohhh new pyramid tea bags! I think its the new trend cuz another brand just launched a new range as well 🙂 But i have heard that pyramid shaped ones are better quality. Would love love love to try the Mint Leaves flavour because I’m recently addicted to peppermint tea as it clears my head.
And I have decided to make this Earl Grey Tea loaf for my colleagues!!! Thanks BBFF for the recipe and idea!

Honeycomb Camomile Buds could almost entice me to give camomile tea another shot but I think Vintage Earl Grey would end up being my go to from this range. As for bringing the boutique home with me … generally some fresh made mini tea cakes does the trick (sunshine helps 🙂 ).
Moni
They are gorgeous!! I would try the camomile tea, just to suss out why they are extra special! And to bring the boutique home, you definitely need to invite some friends, dressed in fancy high tea attire, to share the tea with you!
Cindie Schofield
Most definitely the Vintage Earl Grey, it’s a favourite blend that transcends me to a relaxing place where the world slips away briefly. Always interested in trying new twists on this old favourite.
To bring the boutique home I usually always brew my specialty teas in a tea infuser, my only break away from this tradition is with the fine mesh pyramid bags. I always serve my tea in something pretty and porcelain, I then pull out a delectable sweet treat from my favourite patisserie and enjoy these pleasures on my balcony listening to the rainbow lorikeets singing. Bliss!

Camomile buds would be devine. Tea sets my mind free, Stress is gone. Boutique mind is redefined. Ready to lunch with the ladies all refined.

I would love to try the Twinings Pyramid Infuser Vintage Earl Grey Tea, I drink Earl Grey everyday and it is my absolute favourite Twinings Tea. I have a flash little Tea Table set up with a lovely fresh bunch of flowers that I sit at to enjoy my Earl Grey tea every morning 🙂

I’d love to know how Twinings Vintage Earl Grey differs from their normal (my favourite!) version. And the Honeycomb Camomile has me intrigued. But it’s the Fragrant Green Jasmine that I most want to try. I adore green tea when I go to Chinese yum cha. I’ll drink a whole pot myself. Green tea at home, alas, just doesn’t taste right. Twinings’ evocative name ensures I must try again. I’d celebrate by filling my house with jasmine blossoms, and leaving out bowls of soy sauce and chilli to duplicate the yum cha bouquet at home.

I’d love to taste Vintage earl Grey, my favourite tea. I’d bring out my collection of vintage dishes and fill them with old fashioned cakes and invite my friends over for afternoon tea.

Being a busy mum of two with two jobs, a cup of tea is the perfect opportunity to sit for a few minutes and enjoy one of life’s simple and highly under-rated pleasures. I’d love to try the Brisk English Breakfast because it sounds like the perfect way to start the day. I bring the boutique home by using my late Godmother’s beautiful Doulton tea set. It brings a touch of luxury and sentiment to the everyday.
Ngaire Clarke
Brisk English Morning for me. I use a fine bone china tea cup that was part of a set that my Dad gave to my Mum for their 25th Wedding Anniversary. Sadly they are both gone now but when I have my Twinnings which ever flavour I choose brings back memories of when they were both here.
Rebecca Roessen
Honeycomb Camomile Buds sounds amazing! I would love to try it for a boutique lunch with my mum and sister at home

I have been a Twinings Earl Grey girl ever since I gave up coffee (after 1 taste) in 1979, if it’s not Twining’s, then it’s not quality and if its not Early Grey, then it’s not for me. I can’t wait to get to a city supermarket to try the new Vintage Earl Grey. Living in remote WA, the choices are very restricted here and I stock up with a year’s supply every time I travel. Try explaining a suitcase full of tea to airport staff! No I’m not an addict, well not really!
Allan Hong
Vintage Earl Grey – because I love everything classic and vintage. Yes, I will dress up in my Saville Row 3-piece suit before sipping the tea in a lazy afternoon.

I would Love to try the Honeycomb Camomile Buds…. I’m always looking for camomile tea. There is so many different ways to have Camomile. I love the flowers and buds. A shared boutique with a mix of fragrancy and flavours gently sipped in the shade of the big Oak tree near the back balcony.
Georgia Fardoulys
I can’t wait to try Green Jasmine, it’s one of my all-time favourite teas. When brewed right, it produces a delicate and subtle liquor that’s perfect for summertime sipping. My boutique experience is luckily just outside my window – a gorgeous Jasmine vine that my father planted when I was a child. It’s currently awaiting the Summer months to bloom and bring sweet fragrances through the air once again while I study hard for my exams and sip lots of tea!

Summer is almost here.So I would love to try’ Cottage Mint leaves.’ I think it could be very refreshing in a very hot summer day!
My boutique is in my little garden under the umbrella.
Matt
I can’t decide between the Vintage Earl Grey or the Cottage Mint Leaves and their distinct aromas and flavours – either way they would assist me in boutique experience. What better way to enjoy a cuppa then out on the patio with morning sun beaming in, the fresh smells of the country, with freshly cooked scones, jam and cream or a freshly baked cake.

I’d like to try Vintage Earl Grey in one of my new secondhand trios bought for $10 at a local vintage fair. I love to search for bargains at markets, fairs and charity shops which is how I ‘bring home the boutique’ without breaking the bank. I’m usually in need of a nice cuppa by the time I arrive home! anitayc@bigpond.net.au

I would love to try the new earl Grey…..and how would I bring it home? Anyway I could….
Jennifer B.
Vintage Earl Grey for me! And if I invite my clever macaron-making girlfriends, we’ll have an instant high tea boutique in my home!
Michelle @ The Bakeanista
Oh yes please! Both the Boy and I super love the classic Twinings English Breakfast tea, so pleased to see that Twinings has come up with this new range. I would love to enjoy a cuppa Brisk English Morning alongside some homemade high tea treats with the Boy. And I would prepare using my new Maxwell & Williams Kimono 3-tier cake stand and tea set that would bring home the boutique feel. 😀
Stacey Shailer
I’d love to try the Brisk English Morning tea, with a toddler and a baby who are both getting up with the chooks every morning, I need a good, strong cuppa (or two!) to help me keep up with them! I always use the old fine-bone china tea cups and saucers my late Nanna left to me, she was a real lady who loved her tea and knew how to bring the ’boutique home’.
Karina W
Cottage mint leaves sounds interesting. I bring home the boutique by using my the old antique Asian tea set from my mother in law.
Helena L
Honeycomb Camomile tea buds shared with my most Pommy friends. If they’re not available I’d just put on my best Nigella voice and say to my husband, “Darling, isn’t this tea absolutely fabulously?!”
Ally B
A cup of Twinings Earl Grey is my absolute favourite when I come home from a busy day at work and need a few minutes of peace to restore my sanity – I’d love to try it ‘vintage’ style. I bring home the boutique every so often by experimenting with spices in tea. It’s fun to get out the mortar and pestle to grind up some aromatic spices for an authentic Bengali chai, using a robust black English Breakfast as a base, or finely slicing ginger and mint to add to create a refreshing iced tea with a green tea base. 🙂
Clair
I would love to try the honeycomb chamomile blend, chamomile is the only thing that helps when I get an upset stomach (which due to my IBS is often!) and this blend sounds devine.
pam
Earl Grey was my first specialty tea, and is stil my favorite. I love a cup after a hectic day, with the boys in bed, and I have that special, quiet, all- by-myself moment in the garden.
Danielle
I am an english morning lover of tea, I love cuddling up on the couch with a pot of hot tea and a great book. It makes every day so calming and wonderful. It is a bit of me time.
Natasha

Earl Grey. In a vintage leather man-bag, wearing a jacket with sewed on patches on the elbow and carrying a carnation in my pocket.
Mick G
Fragrant Green Jasmine. I would bring the boutique home by having a tea party with my best friends
Tabitha Dickinson
Green Jasmine… I don’t need to take the boutique home with me, my home is the boutique.
Sarah T
I would love to try the cottage mint leaves. I love to have a cup of tea when my little boy is napping. It gives me time to regenerate and be ready for when he wakes again. This is my boutique.
Maria
I would love to try the cottage mint. Mint is so refreshing and has a beautiful, enticing aroma.
Adric Morrison
Would love to try the Honeycomb Camomile Buds. I adopt robot ghosts is how I bring the boo-tech home

Cottage Mint…its brisk like an English morning…so I can have two “flavours” in the one cup. One in taste and the other in memory
Alison May
OH my WORD! I’d love to try the BRISK morning blend. How lovely to take a little extra time in the morning to make that first cup of tea something special.
I imagine your whole day would just flow smoothly from such a lovely start!
Olivia G
Cottage mint leaves… sounds delicious! I bring the boutique home with freshly cut flowers. Instant moodlifter, and classy if done right!

Cottage mint leaves,Finding a quiet spot and contemplating my day by boiling my ego, evorating my worries, diluting my sorrows, filtering my mistakes and tasting happiness my daily boutique critique.

I’d like to give the Honeycomb Camomile Buds a try.
I wear a monocle and carry a rosewood walking stick wherever I go.
I also ensure my pinky is always, and I mean always, tangential towards the circular arc of my tea cup.
Fancy.
Renee Ballantyne
earl grey as it is my fave
Helen J
Vintage Earl Grey. Late Sunday mornings I take time to enjoy my cup of tea out of my vintage English china before the kids and grandchildren arrive. Morning tea is an old fashioned tradition that fits well with the Sunday lunch tradition!
Di Childs
I’d love to try the intriguing Honeycomb Camomile Buds. It sounds sweet yet soothing. I bring the boutique home by splashing out on expensive gourmet chocolate once every few weeks. It’s totally worth it!

The sublime freshness of mint leaves infused on a spring day amidst bite sized macaroons on a tea tray lined with fresh mint to make a dazzling array for my tea party guests.
