Loving these izakaya sets, especially if they are all delicious like these were!

This blog post is part of my special series to journal the Umai cookbook, from cover to cover :)

Karaage, Agedashi Nasu & Tori to Cheese no Gyoza

Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken)
Agedashi Nasu (Dashi-Marinated Eggplant)
Tori to Cheese no Gyoza (Flat Gyoza with Chicken and Cheese)

Whilst the karaage involved a bit of work, it was so definitely worth it and will 1000000% be making this on repeat. So juicy, so tasty, you don’t even need condiments!

Ewen was a big fan of the cheesy gyozas too, I will have to make them again for sure.

Chapter: Izakaya at Home
Page: 182, 190 & 149
Ingredient Total: 16, 8 & 7
Make it again? Yes, yes & yes
