A Foodie Affair
The invite to a Food Affair was too good to pass up. The chance to see former Masterchef contestant Marion do a cooking demo, see new products, and have a nom on delicious canapés.
The Cheesecake Shop impressed me with their Continental cheesecake filled profiteroles. I am not usually a fan of the profiteroles, but I was won over by their strawberry cheesecake one.
I found the pressure cooker I want to buy when mine dies, a Fissler. And after seeing the guy do a demo where he cooked pumpkin soup, Moroccan spiced chicken, and mushroom risotto all in the one pressure cooker, I was sold. Plus he assured me it wouldn’t blow up… my main pressure cooker fear.
There was a Magimix and Bamix demo, which although was impressive, after having bought a Thermomix it takes a lot to impress me. Agnes struck it lucky, and won herself a Bamix!
Also on display were Maille mustards Cobram Estate olive oil, Annabelle Trends – which I have in my house at all times. A great new range I was introduced to were Allergy Riders – cute little food labels, for parties.
Whenever I’ve attempted gluten free cakes before it’s not been all that good, but their raspberry chocolate fudge cupcakes were amazing; I couldn’t tell they were gluten free!
How gorgeous are these flameless candles by Enjoy Lighting?!
Two lucky new Likers will receive a Fissler 5 piece Sardinia set, valued at $750! All you need to do is visit the Eat.Drink.Enjoy. Facebook page, Like, fill out your details, and voila! You’re in the draw.
Thanks to 360 Focus for holding the Foodie Affair for foodies alike.

Sounds like you had a fun day there! 🙂 Some of the gluten free items that they’re coming up with nowadays are really good! 🙂
