#Hobart

For me, Tasmania has a magnetic effect; I always want to return. It truly is a happy place for me. The pace is slower, the air is clean, and the scenery always takes my breath away.

Ewen Bell and I host a food photography workshop down in Hobart, and take in some of the local treasures. With a trip to Agrarian Kitchen, Frogmore Creek Winery and Ridgeline pottery amongst the itinerary.

The final day in Tassie. We catch a gorgeous sunrise, head back to Hobart via Sweet Envy, the sweetest place in town.

Bowls of coffee and ricotta hotcakes in Hobart, to oyster farming and cheese tasty on Bruny Island. This day was a hard one to beat.

Soaking in the sun and surrounds of Salamanca in Hobart. A stay at the Salamanca Wharf Hotel and dining at Smolt.

After driving of Spirit of Tasmania, it was time for us to make our way down to Hobart. A few stops along the way including the Christmas Hills Berry Farm.

When I put the shout out for food recommendations of places to eat in Tasmania, Rachel from Beyond Beeton, and Zoe Skewes from Herald Sun Food both recommended this place. So after trawling through the Salamanca Markets 1.5 times (the 0.5th time was to go back and buy myself a hat), we walked up Kelly’s

I had grand plans of treating the family for breakfast at the Machine Laundry Cafe I had heard so much about. Alana had told me they do excellent breakfasts, and I had previous read about the place and thought it would be a great place to blog; a laundrette and a cafe in one. However,

I tried to not make my list of things to do, eat and see in Tasmania too big. I had seen Onba’s menu online through my research and I liked the variety on offer. I thought my mum would like to try the duck liver pate in the tapas menu, and there seemed to be
